With the day almost upon him, Captain "Lucky" Simon Woolf was soon to be, and for the rest of his life, masterfully commanded. In order to send him forth on this voyage into the unknown, we set sail out to sea from Southampton.

"England is under threat of invasion, and though we be on the far side of the Solent, this ship is our home... This ship is England!"
Woolfy, correctly attired for the day witnessed Philipedies III take The Great Escape on the solent triangular circuit and helped by Mount Gay, the visitation of Pete's parents, not forgetting that you can't thumb your thumber, a brief dip, local Tonsley Totty recruits and lashings of Eton Mess, the boy Woolf came through unscathed but with a sore head.
The crew members were:
Philipedies III

Anton Barlow
Peter Bullock (The Sleeping Doctor)
Andrew Flood
Mark Turner
Jeff Hughes (Uncle Albert)
Jeremy Salsby
John Southall
Martin Twist
The Great Escape

Simon Woolf (Bent Sailor)

Ed Irvin (Bobby Charl-TON)

Thanks boys - top weekend… bring on Rome! All ridiculous, but nevertheless outstanding…
And don't forget: "Gentlemen, to wives and sweethearts... may they never meet."
