Lord's Cricket Challenge 2003

The Home of Cricket, Lord's, was the venue for the inaugural Tonsley Lord's Cricket Challenge. 24 players divided into three teams and playing to 6-a-side rules format, competed in the triangular competition for the coveted plastic trophy and cheerleader medals.

India, New Zealand and England fought it out with India securing two wins out of two in the final rubber. The Indian side unusually featured an American, Eric, pitching the ball which would have had WG himself turning in his grave.

Well played to all and we'll look to have a re-match soon after Christmas.
