You know the drill: you've been training with the Six Nations game for years. Now clear out the bodies, commit yourself in the loose, go hard in the tackle. Have you got the strength and stamina to last all the way through to the end of October? So... pick 15 players from various nations, score points for tries, kicks, man-of-the-match and even turning up.
Final team selection is due in by the tournament kick-off on on Friday 18th September (20:00 BST) (thereafter, you are allowed various transfers throughout the tournament - see rules below). LEAGUE TABLE Visit the Tonsley Events RWC15 League Table on the official ESPN site for LIVE SCORES. RULES The rules are summarised below (for full rules, visit the ESPN site here). TEAM SELECTION: Taking part couldn't be easier. Simply select a 15-man team from the player list, making sure you have the right number of players in each position (three front-row forwards, two second-row forwards, three back-row forwards, one scrum-half, one fly-half, two centres and three outside backs). The game is split into two Game Rounds: Group Phase and the Knock-out Phase. During the Group Phase you can select a maximum of three players from each nation. This limit will increase to a maximum of five during the Knock-out Phase. Finally, pick one of your team to take your kicks at goal
and you'll then be all set for the tournament kick-off at 20:00 BST on
Friday 18th September. If you are unsure on team selection, start out by clicking the "Lucky Dip" selection button and the system will automatically select a valid team for you. TEAM CHANGES: During the tournament you can react to your players' form and availability by using transfers to change some of your selected players. Please note that you can make unlimited transfers until the first match of the competition at 20:00 BST on Friday 18th September. Before the tournament begins, a transfer amnesty is in place, allowing you to make unlimited changes to your team. Once the tournament begins, you have an allocation of 15 transfers to play with during the Group Phase (matches 1-40). A further 10 transfers can be made during the Knock-out Phase (matches 41-48).*** You can switch your designated Kicker on three occasions during the Group Phase. A further two switches can be made during the Knock-out Phase. If you use a transfer to remove a Kicker from your team, you can designate any incoming player to be your new Kicker 'free of charge' - this action will not use up one of your designated Kicker changes. *** Transfers and Kicker changes will become active for point scoring at the scheduled kick-off of the first match each day. Any changes made after this time will become active at the next proceeding deadline. No additional transfers will be awarded under any circumstances. Once you've made team changes, always check your that your designated kicker is still recorded as you intended. SCORING POINTS: Players score points according to their real life performance in matches.
